A day at the Beach
Cold wind on burnt lips;
Wasaga Beach, frozen still.
Tail wind whole way home.
Wasaga Beach is the longest freshwater beach in the world! I remember coming here with my family, as a young kid in the 70s. We always hoped for a windy day so we could play and body surf in the huge waves that rolled across the endless beaches. When I bike into the Beach now as an adult, I still feel that excited anticipation – although right now the ice is still piled up on the shores. It won’t be long…
