Safety first! Remember, when riding in automobile traffic physics dictates that you will ALWAYS lose in a collision! Keep your bike in good working condition, ride smart, ride defensive, never assume your right-of-way. At intersections, I always attempt to make eye contact with drivers before proceeding into the intersection.
