One of my favourite posters of past decades. Iconic Canadian flyers.

I’ve had this for thirty years now. It has adorned the walls of bedrooms, dorm rooms, basements and now my garage.

I’ve always dreamed of flying but the closest I’ve gotten to flight is dropping down George Johnson hill towards Minesing Swamp at 84 kph on my Marinoni, tucking like a brightly coloured, Lycra clad Kingfisher towards its waterborne prey.

Here, the Snowbirds fly over Mt. Rainier, near Tacoma, WA.

Happy Canada Day!
