
So, I was wrong. There is in fact four young robins who have emerged from the four blue eggs! When I last posted I only saw three beaks straining upwards for nourishment and I assumed on egg did not hatch. After they shuffled around in the tiny nest, a fourth beak appeared from beneath the thin down forming on their shivery pink skin. The nest seems to be getting smaller as these young’uns are so quickly growing. I wonder when they’ll be making a leap towards leaving the nest?
