Two Wheels To Nowhere

It’s not every year that you can enjoy a big ride right after Christmas. A warm South wind delivered such an opportunity today. Felt great to get out and roll around the Bay with a good friend. Foggy and wet the whole way but that didn’t dampen our enthusiasm for the ride. An early start in early Winter means late daylight but that allowed us a minute to take in the Big Tree downtown before departing. A warm café and hot coffee were welcome as we rolled back into Barrie halfway through our cruise before heading eastward along the South Shore to Friday Harbour and Big Bay Point. Not a bad way to spend a morning as the calendar slowly leads us into the New Year. Once again, two wheels to nowhere.
