“Ya gotta keep your Sense of Humour” ~ shared wisdom during lunch break

During lunch, l ended up chatting with Bruce. Downtown today, they were set up at Meridian Place inviting people to sit down and chat with residents from Coleman Care Centre, a nursing home in Barrie. The opportunity, beside fostering friendly conversation, was for younger people to learn from the elders’ experiences and wisdom. During a lengthy, upbeat chat that included discovering some common friends and stories of Bruce’s health challenges over the years, Bruce remind me that “ya gotta keep your sense of humour” when life inevitably hands you difficulties. Thanks, Bruce! You made my day.
