An unsettling quiet around town as I was running at rush hour today. A few people out but not many. As I ran down the completely empty train platform, a pleasant monotone female voice announced over the speakers a reminder to wash hands, sneeze into elbow, keep distance, etc… to nobody. It felt like a scene in a dystopian sci-fi movie. Somewhat Orwellian.
