Just about every year in late April, sometimes early May, Mother Nature throws a snowstorm at Southern Ontario, or regionally within. It shouldn’t surprise us but I for one, always think to myself, “Really!??” After more than five months of dark Winter weather, I am anxiously awaiting the first nice spring day with a warm Sun and the welcoming scent of things blooming and growing. Today, I had to unpack my winter boots from storage in order to navigate the snow and ice on my route to work. Ugh. That said, my commute was gloriously sunny and my marching rhythm was accompanied by the melodies of many a birdsong as they are all busy nesting in the environment around us. Spring is just around the corner…
