Kempenfelt Klassic Kruise ~ Busted out my XC skis to catch the Sunrise on the Bay. I wasn’t the only one out there. Tons of people fishing but still remarkably still! Almost zero wind and no snowmobiles running for the first hour after Sunrise. Simply spectacular skiing. I was surprised by how many large wet spots there were out there, especially along the South Shore. I had to stop four times to scrape the frozen slush off of my boards. Overall a pretty special ski.
