There’s something incredibly satisfying about building a wheel up from scratch. Besides listening to favourites tunes and drinking some wine during the three hours it took me to complete lacing it up, it’s an almost therapeutic exercise. As an inexperienced hack, it’s hardly as time efficient or precise as it should be, but maybe that’s why it’s so satisfying.
