an unusually warm September kept the chlorophyll working longer than usual, thereby delaying and muting the cacophony of colourful leaves that usually fill our tree canopies. however, the warmer than usual weather also encouraged us to get outside and enjoy the changing season in what felt like an endless Summer stretching well into October!
