I rode downtown after work today to meet a colleague for dinner. Ben, from Seattle, is the marketing team’s photographer and video guy. Ben was in Ontario to capture photos and drone footage of the new Hörmann Oro-Medonte facilities as well as product application videos in and around Southern Ontario.
As we arrived at the parking lot downtown, the low clouds above us began to light up a fiery orange in the setting Sunlight. both of us being shutterbugs, were giddy at the opportunity that the unique and fleeting skyscape presented. still standing in the parking lot, I quickly snapped a few shots of the incendiary sky around the building in front of us before we scurried towards the docks for a better view of the light show. the light was changing quickly as the Sun sank and the low clouds moved swiftly through the cool Autumn air. the last image I caught shows Ben hunting for the ideal location between the boat slips. moments later, the Sun slipped below the horizon, drawing the curtains on the light show above.
