as the Sun slowly sinks towards the Solstice, I feel that long black cloud of November is coming down on me. October was generally gorgeous outside as I got into the rhythm of my new (and longer) commuting routine. that made for mostly favourable riding to my new workplace in Oro-Medonte.

Until this past weekend’s semiannual time change, I was leaving home before Sunrise and returning from work in the evening twilight. now, that is reversed and I’m once again enjoying the Sunrise views over the Bay on my way to work. but either way, the Sun’s always low for me before and after work.

It won’t be long now before I have to put the studded snow tires on my two-wheeler for safe riding through the dark, snowy Winter
