powder snow continued to fall on New Year’s Eve stifling the City’s celebration in Barrie and presumably in other snow belt communities. Chris and I headed up the highway with Artie to have some fun with the Orillia gang. such an enjoyable time with Rae and Luke and the kids! Harrison and Lily love playing outside in the snow and didn’t want to go in even as darkness fell on us.

we capped the night off with the final Stranger Things and retired to bed, welcoming in 2026 over coffee and Rae’s delicious cinnamon rolls in the morning, before the splendid Sun rose into the Bluebird sky
